Like Cruella, Maleficent has been given several other voices after Eleanor Audley.  The current voice of the Mistress of All Evil is Susanne Blakeslee, who also voiced another fairy, the voice-of-reason yet still lighthearted Wanda from the Nickelodeon cartoon Fairly Odd Parents, and she has voiced her in all projects except Mickey’s House of Mouse.

So a word of advice—if you have her as your fairy godparent, PLEASE let it be Angelina Jolie.  If it were the original, then you’d wish you’d never been born!
